KUCHING: Some 100 less fortunate families of KMC flats yesterday received a donation collected through the ‘Art For Heart’ platform.
Local artist Gerald Goh, in collaboration with Kuching City South Council (MBKS) through the ‘Art For Heart’ platform on Facebook, donated his art to charity to help the needy during the movement control order (MCO) period.
MBKS mayor Datuk Wee Hong Seng said through the platform, a total amount of RM14,600 was collected and given to underprivileged residents of KMC flats yesterday.
“The public are encouraged to respond generously to this meaningful call to help needy families sail through this MCO period,” said Wee.
