ASAJAYA: The ‘Youth Got Talent’ singing competition, which saw over 40 youngsters taking part, has given the local community in the Asajaya area an opportunity to hone their hidden talents in singing.
Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Minister Datuk Seri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah said the talent and creativity of the youth in Asajaya could stand out better at a higher level.
“I believe that the participants here have their own uniqueness in art and with their presence, this kind of participation can increase the participants’ confidence to go further,” he said when officiating at the opening ceremony of the talent show on Sunday (Nov 13).
The effort, he added, had been successful in fostering relationships between the participants and the local populace, which had strengthened the collaboration of artists in the Asajaya area.
He added that the organising of the programme had received a positive response from the youth.
