KUCHING: Sarawak CID chief, SAC Dato’ Dev Kumar urged police in Limbang to ensure that illegal gambling activities be eliminated to protect the people at large.
Dev said this at the handing over of duty at the Limbang District Police Headquarters, yesterday.
He said Limbang police had managed to reduce the crime index and up to last Sunday, only 11 crime cases were reported compared to 17 in the corresponding period last year.
The new Limbang District CID chief is ASP Mansur bin Rahman who previously served in IPD Padawan. He took over the duty from ASP Andrew Undum Anak Isa.
