SARIKEI: Repok assemblyman Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii has donated two manual crank beds to two of his constituents.
The recipients are Ting Lei Hua, 82, from Jalan Su Hing, Sungai Merudu and Azarudin Abdullah, 17, who became bedridden after an accident three years ago.
The beds were handed by Tiong Sii’s representative, Huang Tiong Kang here last Monday.
Tiong Kang revealed that the contributions were part of the assemblyman’s social responsibility, especially towards the needy.
“He has contributed more than 50 types of aid such as bed for patients, wheelchairs and others.
“This shows he is always concerned about the wellbeing of the constituents in Repok,” he added.
The staff of Repok Service Centre also taught the families of the recipients how to install and use the beds.
