BINTANGOR: Corporate Affairs Assistant Minister Abdullah Saidol donated a sum of RM10,500 to several villages and school associations here yesterday.

Of the sum, RM6,000 was donated to the Abang Amin Zone II Bintangor Village Security and Development Committee (JKKK) and RM1,500 to the Gemuan Mosque Committee of  Darul Falah Mosque.
The donations were presented by Meradong District Councillor Halmi Morshili.

In Sarikei, Abdullah, who is also Semop assemblyman, donated a sum of RM3,000 to Sekolah Kebangsaan Abang Haji Matahir’s Parent-Teacher Association (PTA). He then attended a discussion on the ‘Food Basket’ for the Mukah and Sarikei divisions with the state Irrigation and Drainage Department(DID)  in Semop.

He also took the opportunity to attend the state-level National Day Celebration Committee Meeting at the Sarikei Resident Office.

The meeting was chaired by Urban Planning, Land Administration and Environment Assistant Minister Datuk Len Talif Salleh.
