MUKAH: Sarakup Induk Dayak Sarawak (SIDS) Mukah branch contributed food and drinks to frontliners serving at Dewan Suarah Mesra Covid-19 Immunisation Centre (PPV) here on Wednesday (June 23).
Its chairperson, Teresa Thomas said the contribution was a show of their gratitude and appreciation to all frontliners, who were directly involved in the immunisation process, particularly the Covid-19 Immunisation Task Force (CITF) here.
“Because of that, we feel obliged to contribute a bit, in the form of food and drinks as an appreciation to all those involved,” she said at a handover ceremony held at Dewan Suarah Mesra here.
She added SIDS Mukah branch would also like to express its utmost gratitude to Tellian assemblyman Yussibnosh Balo and Balingian assemblyman Abdul Yakub Arbi for their continuous support to the association.
Teresa also urged the people here to register for Covid-19 vaccine to enable them to be protected from the virus infection.
