KUCHING: The Kuching City First Choir Association (KCFCA) will present a choral concert, ‘Music and Words’ on Dec 2.
The second edition of the evening concert from 7.30 pm to 9 pm will be held at the Chemsain Auditorium, Jalan Rock here.
It will feature performances of the association’s flagship choir Jehté Chamber Choir.
Under the direction of choirmaster George Tay, the audience will be transported through a landscape of diverse musical genres and traditions, showcasing choral masterpieces from Indonesia, the Philippines, New Zealand, Italy, Japan, Taiwan, and beyond, as well as a contemporary blend of modern pop, timeless classics, and cutting-edge pieces, showcasing the versatility and dynamism of the Jehté choral singers.
Joining them on this melodious journey will be guest artistes, including The Band Lab and the Bung Bratak Cultural Group, along with solo and duet acts performing instrumental and vocal pieces.
Meanwhile, early bird tickets are available from now until Nov 2.
After Nov 2, those interested will have the option of choosing either standard or premium tickets.
