KUCHING: Registration for athletes and team officials participating in the 21st Malaysia Games (SUKMA XXI) in Sarawak 2024 begins today.
The Delegation Registration Meeting (DRM) will be held until tomorrow (Aug 8) at Bilik Asajaya, Grand Margherita Hotel here.
This morning’s session featured hosts Sarawak, along with contingents from Perak and Terengganu. In the afternoon, contingents from the Federal Territory, Pahang, and Sabah will complete their registrations.
Tomorrow, contingents from Johor, Melaka, Penang, and Selangor will register in the morning, followed by contingents from Kelantan, Kedah, Perlis, and Negeri Sembilan in the afternoon.
The purpose of the meeting is to confirm the registration of athletes and team officials from the 15 competing contingents. Additionally, any changes to events or athletes can be made during this meeting.
Youth, Sports, and Entrepreneur Development Ministry permanent secretary Morshidi Fredrick, was also present to oversee the registration process this morning.
