MIRI: Three violent men grabbed a bag with RM70 inside from a female motorcyclist   after brutally attacking her at a traffic light intersection near Permymall early yesterday morning.

According to Miri police chief Asst Comm Lim Meng Seah, the 26-year-old chicken seller was going back to her home in Permyjaya from Vista Perdana when the attack occurred.

She was riding alone and was at the traffic light intersection when a white Proton Wira suddenly approached her.   

“After the car drove very close to her motorcycle, one of the suspects grabbed her bag while another got out of the car and started punching and kicking her,” said Lim,  The assailants fled in a white Proton Wira after the 3.30am incident, leaving the woman groaning in pain.

Lim said the case was being investigated under Section 394 for robbery. Police are currently on the hunt for the suspects.
