SIBU: Homegrown Farley Supermarket (Farley) will be organising its family day extravaganza called Farley Riang Ria 2024, scheduled to be held at Farley Jalan Salim here on Sept 1 starting at 5.30 am and is offering RM10,000 worth of fabulous lucky draw prizes for the participants.
According to the Farley human resources executive Sie Sing Ying, the first prize is an Ipad 10.9”, second prize is a Vivo smartphone Y100 5G, the third prize is a Sharp 42″ HD TV, fourth prize is Midea 236 L refrigerator, fifth prize is a Midea washing machine (9.5kg), sixth prize a Khind 250W cordless vacuum and lastly the seventh prize is a Xiaomi smart watch band 8 pro.
Speaking at a press conference yesterday (Aug 14), Sie said Farley’s family day event themed, ‘Jom Sihat, Jom Riang Ria’ will also feature a fun walk with a distance of 1.6 kilometres for Category A and a fun run with a distance of six kilometres for Category B.
The participation fee for Category A is RM40, and for Category B is RM55, whereas for children aged 12 and below, the participation fee is RM20 each for both categories.
Sie said for the fun walk, each participant is entitled to receive a free T-shirt, goodie bag and breakfast pack. He or she is encouraged to participate in 15 types of fun games.
The fun run is divided into male and female sections, whereby the champion will receive RM500 cash, while the first runner-up wins RM300 and second runner-up gets RM200.
Five consolation prizes of RM100 each are up for grabs. Each participant will also receive a free T-shirt, breakfast pack and a finisher medal.
Entry forms are available at Farley Sibu Member Centre or register through Farley’s E-registration. The closing date for the registration is not later than Aug 17.
Sie also informed that after the announcement of the fun run results, the organiser will hold a lucky draw session.
“During the family day event, there will also be other side activities such as free health screening, face painting, a clown show, zumba and a photo booth,” Sie added.
