MIRI: Four auxiliary police personnel of an Estate in Ladang 3 were caught stealing from their work place yesterday morning.
According to sources, prior to the arrest, the estate’s manager had conducted an internal investigation after receiving a report on several missing items inside the estate.
A police report was immediately lodged after the four suspects were apprehended around 2am yesterday.
However, it was not immediately disclosed what the stolen items were.
The estate manager had conducted a spot check on the suspects’ quarters after receiving a tip-off of the alleged incident. The suspects were handed over to the police for further action.
