KOTA KINABALU: Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan represented the Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg in the National Malaysia Day celebration held at the Sabah International Convention Centre on Thursday night.

Among the dignitaries who attended the celebration were Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sabah, Tun Juhar Mahiruddin; Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob; Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Hajiji Noor; Communications and Multimedia Minister cum minister in charge of Malaysia Day Celebration 2021 Tan Sri Annuar Musa; and the Sabah state cabinet ministers.

The ceremony consists of the screening of the ‘Caring Malaysia Special Montage’ and a symbolic ceremony to sign a special book for the Malaysia Day 2021 celebration.
