Awie leads bikers to visit Padawan IPD

KUCHING: Malaysia’s iconic rocker, Datuk Awie paid a courtesy call on Padawan district police chief, Supt Aidil Bolhassan at the latter’s office at Padawan IPD on Tuesday (June 23).

According to Aidil, the 51-year-old popular rock legend’s visit was only casual and aimed at familiarisation on the area.

“He arrived at the Kuching International Airport (KIA) around 2.15pm and welcomed by the Wings Motor Gang Society.

“The delegation then visited the Padawan IPD at 3.10pm on the same day,” he told New Sarawak Tribune.

Aidil further revealed that Awie will attend a private function held by the bikers society team in a local hotel the same night.

Awie is also the founder and president of Wings Motor Gang Society Asean.
