KUCHING: AZAM Sarawak is set to make its debut in the Unity Futsal League 2024, fielding a diverse team comprised of its staff and the talented AZAM Young Souls.
The league, organised by the Ministry of National Unity, will start tomorrow (Sept 29) at the Satok Sports Complex.
Strategic Communications Manager Hassnal Hakim said that this participation marked the inaugural venture of the newly formed AZAM Fit & Fun Club.
“This reflects our unwavering commitment to fostering community advancement through sports and inclusive communication, empowering both our staff and youth within the organisation,” he said in a statement.
Looking ahead, the club intends to expand its sporting activities to include pickleball, tennis, and netball, further solidifying AZAM’s mission to encourage healthy living and sportsmanship.
Moreover, AZAM’s futsal team jersey was officially unveiled today.
