KUCHING: Azizul Annuar Adenan has been re-elected as the president of Taekwondo Malaysia (WTF) during the recent WTF 11th annual general meeting.
Azizul retained the top post after he garnered 38 votes in a two-cornered fight against Datuk Mohd Nasir Ibrahim Fikri who could only secure 17 votes.
“I thank members and the elected executive committee for their advice, continuous support and unity.
“There are a series of worldwide taekwondo championships to be held all throughout the year.
“I would like to assure that the programme for the national team would continue to run smoothly as the association looks forward to greater success in the forthcoming worldwide event,” he said.
For the record, Azizul is also the current present of Persatuan Taekwondo Negeri Sarawak (TM/WTF).
