KUCHING: The BA Volleyball Premier League 2024 is set to reach its thrilling conclusion, with the grand finale scheduled for Dec 15.
The final match will be held at SJK Chung Hua Kim Choo Seng in Batu Kawa, where the top teams will compete for the coveted championship.
Sponsored by LEA Sports Centre (LSC), Slazenger and Cats FM, the winning team will receive a grand prize of RM5,000, while the runner-up and second runner-up will take home RM3,000 and RM1,000, respectively.
This inaugural tournament, co-organised by Bus Asia and the Kuching Division Volleyball Association, has brought together talented teams and passionate supporters.
For the record the the tournament, which began in May 2024, features nine teams which are which are AXIS , CVS, CHVBT, CHNO.4, KBTS ( Kelab Bola Tampar Santubong) ,LUNDU, PJVC (Petra Jaya Volleyball Club),SKYJET, and UVC 9.
During a recent ceremony, LSC managing director Raymond Sim presented the championship trophies to Kuching Division Volleyball Association president Tay Chang Seng, symbolising their commitment to the sport.
