KUCHING: Dr Kelvin Yii Lee Wuen has pledged a sum of RM86,940 to enhance the facilities of the new building at SMK St Teresa.

In a statement, the Bandar Kuching MP said that the school authorities have long been working diligently to secure the necessary funds for improving the facilities of the newly constructed building, with a primary focus on creating an open and spacious area for student assemblies.

“Additionally, the school has faced challenges due to the malfunctioning of numerous LCD projectors that are essential for teaching purposes.

“In a timely and commendable move, I have allocated RM86,940 for the acquisition of plastic chairs for the school’s assembly hall.

“Moreover, this allocation facilitated the installation of new LCD projectors, effectively replacing the faulty equipment. The installation of the new projectors was successfully completed last week,” he said.

Dr Yii’s commitment to supporting educational facilities reflects his dedication to enhancing the learning environment for students at SMK St Teresa.
