KUCHING: Pupils of SK St Andrew here are enjoying their new classrooms, which are equipped with LCD projects.

Bandar Kuching MP Dr Kelvin Yii said this was made possible by contributions from his service centre and from generous members of the public.

“It is really a joy to see pictures of the pupils enjoying their new classrooms.

“Besides this, we also helped the school build their pre-school kitchen, contributed to the running of some activities for the pupils and providing uniforms for underprivileged pupils, among others,” he said today.

He assured that he would continue to invest in education and help the schools in his constituency to ensure that the students get a conducive environment to learn.

On a separate occasion, Dr Yii together with Pending assemblywoman Violet Yong visited an elderly man who had requested for help recently.

“He is suffering from hearing issues. After consulting the doctor, he was told that he needed hearing aid.
