SERIAN: The younger generation has once again been reminded that only Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) can bring about progress and look after the wellbeing of Sarawakians.
Serian incumbent Datuk Seri Richard Riot, the Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) deputy president nominated to defend the seat, said only Sarawakians understood and cared about what Sarawakians needed.
“Remember the agony that we had to go through during the 22-month tenure of the Pakatan Harapan government. Enough is enough.
“Sarawak’s political stability under GPS is now an example for other states to follow.
“And because of that steadfastness and integrity, Sarawak often becomes the decider or kingmaker in every transition of power,” he said when launching the GPS youth election machinery for Serian at Kpg Piching here, on Tuesday.
Some 500 youths attended the launch ceremony.
Riot then delivered the GPS manifesto to all the youth leaders present.
The youth leaders of Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) for the state constituencies of Bukit Semuja, Kedup, and Tebedu as well as the Serian SUPP youth chief delivered their speeches.
