MIRI: A barber shop owner suffered loss of about RM8,000 after his premises in Krokop, Miri was broken into in early yesterday morning’s incident.
The 30-year-old owner only realised that his shop was broken into after he received a phone call from his partner at 9 am.
According to a source, from further check, the victim found some items stored in the premises’ store were lost.
“Among the missing items are hairdryers, coins and more than 50 bottles of various type of shampoo,” he said. He said the criminals were believed to have broken into the premises through the main door.
“Following the incident, the victim lodged a report at the Miri Central Police Station for further action,” he said.
