SEBUYAU: Progress on the Batang Lupar Bridge, a RM848.7 million undertaking, is advancing swiftly and remains on schedule.

During a visit today (Jan 22), Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas, who also oversees Infrastructure and Port Development received updates on the bridge’s current status from the Public Works Department (PWD).

Post this visit, Uggah, expressing contentment with the bridge’s progress, moved on to review the Batang Saribas 1 and 2 Bridge projects.

Accompanying him were Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Port Development Datuk Majang Renggi, engineers from PWD Samarahan and Betong Divisions, and officials from the Samarahan Division Resident Office and Sebuyau District Office.
