BCCK dishes out house-made ice-creams in the Raintree Cafe

KUCHING: Looking for the latest feel-good treat in town? The Raintree Cafe, an outlet operated by the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) in the Plaza Merdeka, is now offering its very own house-made ice creams.

The latest additions to the cafe’s line-up of local and Western fares, the dessert comes in three flavours – vanilla raisin, Italian espresso and mixed berries of raspberries, strawberries and blueberries at RM3.00 nett per scoop with a choice topping of strawberry coulis, caramel sauce or chocolate sauce.

For variety, ice cream lovers can indulge in their own concoctions by mixing any two flavours for RM5.00 nett per cup or a mix of all three flavours for RM8.50 nett per cup. 

“Try our latest offering of ice creams if you are at Plaza Merdeka. Our ice creams, just like all other dishes at The Raintree Cafe, are prepared by our highly-trained chefs at the BCCK so you can be assured of the quality of the foods that we serve as we apply strict food safety standard apart from our promise of good-tasting treats,” Thomas Schmid, BCCK Executive Chef proffered.

The Raintree Cafe is open from 10.00 am to 10.00 pm daily and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.

All prices quoted above are inclusive of the six percent Government Service Tax.
