BCCK extends its CSR goodwill

KUCHING: Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) has generously contributed 80 brand new mattresses to Rumah Kanak-Kanak Toh Puan Hajah Norkiah, as part of its philanthropic corporate social responsibility values.

According to a press statement by BCCK, the delivery of the mattresses took place at Rumah Kanak-Kanak Toh Puan Hajah Norkiah at Jalan Kuching-Serian on May 2.

Chief Executive Officer of BCCK, Eric van Piggelen expressed his gratitude to BCCK’s contribution of giving back to the communities, especially benefitting the children of Rumah Kanak-Kanak Toh Puan Hajah Norkiah.

“We are honored to extend our assistance and contribute to the well-being of the children under the orphanage care.

He also said the 80 mattresses contributed by BCCK would provide much-needed comfort and support to the children residing at Rumah Kanak-Kanak Toh Puan Hajah Norkiah.

“At BCCK, we believe in the importance of making a positive impact beyond our core business. It is our responsibility and pleasure to support our communities and this contribution reflects our ongoing commitment,” he said.

BCCK’s corporate social responsibilities extends beyond this contribution, as the company remains actively engaged in various community initiatives, as well as remains committed in driving positive change through CSR.

“We at BCCK have always believed in giving back and playing a larger role in our community. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to contribute back to our future, the children,” he added.

With adequate bedding, the children’s home can ensure that each child has a conducive environment for rest and do their daily routine, thereby promoting their overall health and well-being.

BCCK looks forward to forging new partnerships and embarking on impactful CSR initiatives that will leave a legacy of compassion and kindness in the community.

BCCK’s chief financial officer Joseph Chung along with other senior executives, director of sales & marketing Premala Danapakiam , Human Resources director Ahmad Rizal Yaman, Facilities director Christopher Wan, assistant general manager of sales Jacqueline Tunggi and other representatives from BCCK were present to deliver the mattresses to representatives of Rumah Kanak-Kanak Toh Puan Hajah Norkiah.
