KUCHING: The Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) has been honoured with three prestigious awards at the 2024 Malaysia Business Events Awards (MBEA).
The awards ceremony, organised by the Malaysian Association of Convention and Exhibition Organisers and Suppliers (MACEOS), celebrated BCCK for its outstanding contributions across several categories: the Purpose Built Convention & Exhibition Centre Excellence Award (for centres with a total saleable space of 15,000 sqm and below), the New Homegrown Event Excellence Award for Consumer Exhibitions (requiring a minimum gross space of 2,000 sqm), and a similar award for Congress/Convention events attracting a minimum of 200 delegates.
“BCCK continues to elevate the standards of business events, and these awards are a testament to the exceptional efforts of our team and partners. We are proud to contribute to the growth of Sarawak’s business event industry. We extend sincere thanks to each staff member and partner for their dedication and hard work. Our success is a collective achievement, and we appreciate the steadfast support from our stakeholders and industry partners,” it said in a statement.
BCCK also acknowledged the support from Business Events Sarawak (BESarawak) and the Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Sarawak for their invaluable assistance in supporting the events that led to these accolades.
