KUCHING: Several areas will experience low water pressure for two days beginning tomorrow due to valve trial test and pipe connection works for the upcoming diversion of the existing pipe at Jalan Datuk Mohd Musa, Kota Samarahan.
The Kuching Water Board (KWB) in a notice today said works would be carried out from March 12 at 10pm untill March 13 at 5.30am. The affected areas are Taman Samarindah, Taman Merdang Gayam, Taman Desa Ilmu, Kampung Melayu, Kampung Nakong, Kampung Bangka Semong Kota Samarahan, Asajaya, Rural Water Supply Department (JBALB) areas including Tambirat Booster Station and surrounding areas.
Since the affected areas are expected to experience murky water during the period, KWB advised consumers to be prepared for the situation.
