KUCHING: A beautician was extorted for RM1,500 over nude photographs of her by her boyfriend recently.
According the 32-year-old woman, the incident occurred at around 6.00pm last Saturday when she told the suspect that she wanted to end their relationship.
She said the suspect then threatened to expose the nude photos of her on the social media if she failed to give him RM1,500 which he claimed she owed him.
Following the threat, the victim went to a police station to lodge a report.
Meanwhile, a businesswoman was robbed by three armed robbers at her own house in Taman Sukma here, early Tuesday morning.
The victim, aged 55, said the incident occurred at around 3.45am when she saw three masked men armed with machetes in the house.
She said one of the suspects had demanded for valuables from her and threatened to harm her if she refused to comply with their demands.
She claimed she was injured during the robbery.
The victim said fearing for her life, she went into the master bedroom to take her handbag.
She said the suspects left the house in a metallic blue car after taking the handbag, which contains her son’s birth certificate, and two mobile phones which were left on a cabinet in the kitchen.
A report on the incident was lodged.
