KUCHING: Supreme Group today contributed 200 packets of beef products to the residents of Kampong Sungai Maong here.
Present to hand over the food assistance was the group executive vice-chairman Datuk Richard Wee Liang Chiat witnessed by PBB Satok deputy chairman Datuk Ibrahim Baki at Masjid Darul Istiqlal in Kampung Sungai Maong.
Wee is also the president of the Federation of Chinese Association of Kuching, Kota Samarahan and Serian Divisions.
The contribution is part fulfilment of the group’s corporate social responsibility (CSR).
Also present were Political Secretary to Chief Minister Abdul Samad Ghany, Captain Tan Kok Chiang, PBB Sungai Maong head Abdul Latif Salleh, Kampung Sungai Maong chieftain Masni Morri and members of the Federation of Chinese Association of Kuching, Kota Samarahan and Serian divisions.
Kampong Sungai Maong has been placed under conditional movement control order (CMCO) following the detection of positive Covid-19 cases in the area recently.
The CMCO was supposed to end today but was further extended until 11.59pm tomorrow night.
