KUCHING: Befrienders Kuching will be holding its first anniversary charity dinner at Imperial Hotel Kuching on August 10.
The dinner is aimed at promoting Befrienders Kuching’s services as well as promoting mental health awareness and suicide prevention.
It is also to raise funds for Befrienders Kuching to run its day-to-day operations in order to reach out to more people here and throughout the state.
Tickets for the dinner is priced at RM120 per person.
Various activities including a lucky draw have been lined up for the dinner.
Befrienders Kuching, in a pre-event media release, yesterday appealed for sponsorships from various companies to support its mental health programme and to assist in bringing awareness on suicide prevention to the community in the state.
