MIRI:Deputy Minister of Women, Childhood and Community Development I Datuk Rosey Yunus is in the dark about the wooden jetty project at Kampung Mutap, Bekenu.
In saying so, the Bekenu assemblywoman said she would leave it to the Public Works Department here to look into the matter.
“I’ll let PWD Miri look into the matter first, before we decide our next course,” said Rosey when met on Sunday at the PBB Bekenu General Meeting here.
Controversy arose over the RM50,000 project after netizens started questioning its price.
The 15 meter long and one meter wide wooden jetty was completed on April 1.
