DALAT: The transition to the Covid-19 endemic phase is also a time for reflection, says Beting Maro assemblyman Razaili Gapor.

“During the two years of Covid-19, we were confined to our homes and no activities were allowed.

“Thankfully, the government announced recently that the country would be heading into the endemic phase, with more restrictions relaxed.

“Therefore, do not miss the opportunity to appreciate and improve during this Ramadan.

“Indeed, Ramadan is a month of mercy, blessings and forgiveness that we should fulfil.”

Razaili said this during the Ihya Ramadan programme at Masjid Beladin al-Amin here on Tuesday (April 12).

He also reminded every Muslim to abide by the guidelines set by Sarawak Islamic Council, including standard operating procedures to curb the spread of Covid-19.

After breaking fast and tarawih prayer, Razaili handed over RM15,000 to the mosque management committee.

Apart from that, RM5,000 each was given to five surau in Beladin.
