KUCHING: Betong Division will not be taking part in the ADAP 40RTY Sarawak Cup 2018 which will be held in Bintulu scheduled from Dec 27 to 30.
This was confirmed by Betong Division Football Association (BDFA) deputy president, Abang Suhordie Abang Zaini.
According to Abang Suhordie, a clash of unavoidable problems has forced Betong Division to skip the tournament.
“We will not participate in the tournament (ADAP 40RTY Sarawak Cup) because of the problems.
“We have informed the management committee of the Bintulu Division Football Association (BIFA) on the matter,” said Abang Suhordie yesterday.
So far, 11 divisions have confirmed their participation namely Kuching, Samarahan, Serian, Sri Aman, Sarikei, Sibu, Kapit, Mukah, Bintulu, Miri and Limbang.
Two affiliates, Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) and The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) will also take part.
