MUKAH: A Bidar Pesaug boat race will be held here in conjunction with Kaul Petanak 2023.
The competition, to be staged on March 4-5, will be held at Sungai Kampung Petanak.
Organising chairman Terry Anthony this traditional sport is being organised in the hope of popularising it among the younger generation.
It will feature a 10 mixed paddlers category, 8 male paddlers category, 10 paddlers, 8 female paddlers category, 6 female paddlers category and 10 Raja Sungai category.
Prize money and other prizes will be handed out to the winners during the two-day event.
