KUCHING: A man died when the motorcycle he was riding went out of control and crashed at Jalan Diplomatik, Petra Jaya here at 12.40 am today.
Sarawak Traffic Investigation and Enforcement chief Supt Alexson Naga Chabu said that the victim, identified as Primer Miller Sman, 21, was believed to be travelling from Jalan Bako to Samariang.
“As a result of the incident, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene by Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) medical personnel,” he said in a statement.
Alexson said the victim’s body was taken to the SGH morgue for further actions and that the victim’s family has been notified of the incident.
The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
