BINTULU: An Indonesian man died after his motorcycle crashed at Jalan Pesisir Bintulu/Tatau on Wednesday (September 2).
State Traffic Investigation and Enforcement chief Supt Alexson Naga Chabu said the victim was identified as Rohani Jamain, 53, from Lebak Singkawan, Indonesia.
“He was riding along Jalan Kuala Tatau when he lost control of his motorcycle while turning into a junction leading to Kampung Tani at Jalan Pesisir Kuala Tatau around 7.50am.
“He suffered serious injuries to the head and body and was pronounced dead at scene by medics,” he said in a statement.
The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of Road Transport Act 1987.
