KUCHING: A motorcyclist died at the Sarawak General Hospital after he and another motorcyclist collided with a car at about 5.05am at Jalan Samarahan/Tabuan Laru traffic light
junction, yesterday.
Harry Mat, aged 26, from Rumah Sidi, Kpg Lunyung, Sebuyau was heading to the city with a high-powered motorcycle trailing behind him when he rammed into a car in front. The high-powered
motorcycle also rammed into Harry’s motorcycle.
After the collision Harry was immediately taken to Sarawak General Hospital but
succumbed to his injuries
shortly after.
The other motorcyclist, aged 27, escaped with minor injuries. The car driver was not hurt.
Sarawak Head of Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department, Supt Alexson Naga Chabu, confirmed the case.
