KUCHING: A motorcyclist was slightly injured after he collided with a car at Jalan Semariang, here on Wednesday (June 17).
State Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Chief, Supt Alexson Naga Chabu, said the victim was identified as Muhamad Jabrullah Mohamad Bujang, 20, a Foodpanda rider from Kampung Semarang, Petra Jaya.
The driver, Mansor Hassan Ali Hassan, 66, was unharmed during the collision.
Alexson said the 10.42am accident happened when the driver who was commuting to the city from Santubong stopped on the left side of the road.
“The driver filed a report at Kuching District Police Headquarters while the motorcyclist was taken to Sarawak General Hospital where he was treated as an outpatient,” he said.
The case is still under investigation as the motorcyclist had not filed any police report at press time. Investigations would be carried out based on rule 10 LN 166/59, said Alexson.
