PADAWAN: A collision between a motorcycle and a car took the life of the 31-year-old motorcyclist at midnight.
In the accident at Jalan Batu Kawa, labourer Danny Pangiran from Kampung Lumut, Lawas, died from severe head injuries.
Padawan OCPD Supt Abang Zainal Abidin Abang Ahmad said the accident happened around 12.30am.
He said the victim’s motorcycle skidded and crashed into the rear part of the car, which was heading towards Moyan from Mile 3.
“The victim sustained severe head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. His body was sent to the Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) for apost-mortem,” he said.
The 32-year-old motorist escaped unhurt.
