KUCHING: A motorcyclist and his pillion rider cheated death after the motorcycle they were riding rammed into the rear of a truck laden with earth at Jalan Singai, Bau, about 9 am, yesterday.
The impact of the collision caused the motorcyclist and his pillion rider to fall off the motorcycle.
They were however very fortunate to escape with only minor injuries.
The accident happened when the motorcyclist was not in time to apply the brakes when the truck in front of them suddenly stopped.
The motorcyclist is being warded at the Bau Hospital for further observation while the pillion rider was given out patient treatment.
