KUCHING: Bintulu Port Holding Berhad (BPHB) has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the state government’s initiatives aimed at nurturing unity among the diverse population.

The organisation pledges to persist in its dedication to government-backed programmes focused on uniting people, transcending differences in ethnicity and religion, in addition to promoting water sports, a source of deep cultural pride for Sarawakians.

In line with this commitment, BPHB formed a strategic partnership with the Tourism, Creative Industry, and Performing Arts Ministry, serving as the Gold Sponsor for the Sarawak Regatta 2023.

“One of the trophies contested in this edition is the BPHB Trophy for ‘Bidar 15 Pekayuh Lelaki’ category. The event is highly anticipated and will take place from November 3 to 5 at the Kuching Waterfront.,” it said in a statement today (Nov 2).

BPHB emphasised the organisation of Sarawak Regatta 2023 has established Sarawak as a premier destination for water sports tourism.

“Its objective is to uphold and preserve local heritage and culture while further strengthening unity among the diverse ethnic and religious communities in the state,” they added.

Bintulu Port has also extended an invitation to the public to visit the Bintulu Port exhibition area at Kuching Waterfront to enhance the atmosphere at Sarawak Regatta 2023.
