KUCHING: In their quest for the third Kuching League rugby title, KRFC Blackcatz seemed unstoppable in their second round match after they steamrolled Unimas Lycans 37-0 last Saturday following their convincing 41-19 win against GB13 Skulls the previous weekend. With 10 points in the bag, they were closely followed by Wolfpack and WORC (Warriors Old Boys), both with 8 points from two matches. Title contenders Wolfpack drew 10-10 against WORC in the opening match on April 24 but convincingly beat RMP Sarawak (Police) 99-0 to seize second spot followed by WORC who beat KWRC (Kenyalang Warriors) 35-14 last Saturday to stand third.
Meanwhile, Blackcatz will take on UiTM Hunters this Saturday at the Army (1st Division Muara Tuang) camp at 2.30pm while Unimas Lycans and Wolfpack will met in the same venue at 4.30pm. At Song Kheng Hai rugby field, WORC will take on GB13 Skulls at 2.30pm followed by RMP Sarawak clash against Kenyalang Warriors at 4.30pm. The tournament is expected to end on April 21.
