BAU: A four wheeled drive pickup was completely razed by fire at along Bau-Lundu Road near Kampung Stenggang during high noon yesterday.
The fire incident report was received by the State Fire and Rescue Operations Centre (Bomba) at 11.41am.
“We have despatched firefighters from Bau Bomba station to commence extinguishing the inferno pertaining to the burned vehicle.
“The operations commander reported that the vehicle was completely destroyed by the blaze by the time the team arrived,” it said.
Firefigters proceeded to put out the fire on the vehicle. There were no fatalities reported during the operations.
Once the fire was put out, firefighters returned to the station.
