BINTULU: Ninety-six people took part in a blood donation programme organised by Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad (BPHB) at Parkcity Mall here last Saturday (August 15).
The programme, themed ‘Share Life, Donate Blood’, was held in collaboration with the Blood Bank Unit of Bintulu Hospital.
The campaign was one of the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) programmes.
“We also hope to educate the community on the importance of donating blood and the need to help the hospital meet its need for blood.
“Indirectly, such programme can further strengthen the relationship between the company and Bintulu Hospital and enhance community integration,” said Bintulu Port in a statement.
