MUKAH: Mukah Polytechnic (PMU) invites the public, particularly PMU students and the local community, to donate blood on Saturday, September 17 from 8am to 4.30 pm at the Mukah Polytechnic Hall grounds.
The Blood Donation Programme is organised by the Department of Information Technology and Communication (JTMK) in partnership with Mukah Polytechnic’s Entrepreneurship Unit and Mukah Hospital’s Blood Donation Service Unit.
The programme aims at assisting local hospitals in acquiring additional blood donors, particularly in the area.
“It is also to increase students’ awareness of social responsibility towards the community in order to further increase the public’s awareness and concern about the necessity of donating blood to help those in need.
“In addition this programme provides experience to develop and administer the blood donation campaign programme, particularly for students in the Inqbiz Tech One Stop Centre Incubator.”
