KUCHING: A blood donation campaign will be held at Boulevard Shopping Mall here this coming Sunday from 9 am to 2 pm.
Organised by the Federation of Kuching, Samarahan and Chinese Division Chinese Associations Youth Section, Sarawak, the campaign is supported by its affiliated youth group, Sarawak Hakka Community Association, Youth Section (Hakka Youth) and will be assisted by the Malaysia Red Crescent Society (Kuching Chapter).
“The blood donation is in response to the call by the Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) for more blood supply to its Blood Bank as well as to create awareness among the general public on the noble deed of saving life through blood donation.
“Organisers appeal to the general public to spread this campaign to their friends and relatives and urges those who intend to donate their blood to be early,” Federation of Kuching said in a press release.
It added that any enquiry may be made to the Sarawak Hakka Community Association (082-259892), Joyce Liew (016-8930629) and Heng Liew (016-8886909).
