JULAU: The Fire and Rescue team here yesterday found the body of a female longboat capsize victim, Lenny ak Ingang, 46, on the bank of Sungai Kanowit near Rh Panjang Gani, Wong Bar at 12.30pm.
A search and rescue operation was launched along Sungai Kanowit after the firemen received a report of the mishap from Julau District Police Headquarters at 9.33am yesterday.
The operation was led by Nicholas Belulin.
At press time, the bodies of two other victims, Ebiline Linty ak Kaya, a 23-year-old woman, and Kelvin Sama ak Markus, a six-year-old boy have not been found yet.
