KANOWIT : The body of a drown victim, Danny Manggie, 15, was found by a Special Water Rescue Unit (PPDA) team at 6.10pm on Monday.
The victim was found 20 metres from the riverbank at Kanowit town and was handed over to the police at 6.20pm on Monday. Six members from the Kanowit Fire and Rescue Station led by PBT Allok Tagal rushed to the scene after receiving an emergency call at 1.18pm on Monday.
With the discovery of the drown victim the search and rescue (SAR) operation has been stopped immediately.
