SIBU: The body of a teenager who was reported missing after falling into a river near Jeti Pasar Baru Kapit last Saturday was found yesterday afternoon.
Maxmecluess Kalat Tommy, 19, was found in a river near SK Nanga Temalat, Song in Kapit at around 1.12pm by his family members.
A team of firefighters from Song district was deployed to the location to retrieve the body after they were informed by the deceased’s family.
The body was later handed over to the search and rescue team comprising police personnel and firefighters from Kapit fire station to be taken back to Kapit.
