The victim is taken to Bintulu Hospital for a post mortem.

TATAU: The body of an unknown man was found floating in Sungai Kelebu here yesterday morning.

The body was found floating in front of a tugboat which is moored in the river at around 11.30am by members of the public.

A police team from Tatau District Police Headquarters was dispatched to the location to retrieve the body after they were informed of the discovery.

During the search, the police did not find any documents on the victim.

Based on the condition of the body, police believed that the victim had been in the water for more than two days.

According to Tatau District Police chief, DSP Dennis Bunyam, members of the public who have lost any family member or have information regarding the incident can contact Tatau Police Station chief, Sergeant Senon Rigok at 086-584615,.

He said the body was taken Bintulu Hospital for a post mortem.
