SIBU: The body of an unidentified man was found floating near the Moxen Shipyard Depot, Sungai Lebaan this morning.
Sibu Police Chief ACP Zulkipli Suhaili said the discovery was reported at 8.26 am by members of the public, prompting a police team to be dispatched to the scene.
“Preliminary examinations revealed no identification documents on the body. We are working to gather information on this person and locate the deceased’s next of kin,” he said in a statement.
Zulkipli added that the man, about 178cm tall, was dressed in a long-sleeved black shirt with ‘Colombia’ written on it and cream shorts labelled ‘Jungle Storm’.
