KUCHING: The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) celebrated the National Month and Fly the Jalur Gemilang campaign yesterday.
Its director PKPjB Khirudin Drahman officiated at the event at the Bomba headquarters in Jalan Setia Raja here.
It was attended by the department’s assistant divisional directors, station chiefs across Kuching and senior officers.
The ceremony also saw the presentation of the Jalur Gemilang to State Bomba assistant director (operations) PgKB I Tiong Ling Hii as a symbolic gesture to all zone heads and station chiefs throughout Sarawak.
Among those present included Fire Safety Division assistant director PgKB I Mohamad Fauzi Mohd Kifli and Fire Investigation Division assistant director PgKB I Amran Jusoh.
